Online PalmPilot Tips and Tricks
| Overall Rating | No Ratings |
- One of the best places to start is PalmPower Magazine, which features "tips and techniques exclusively for PalmPilot users." This magazine will teach you things such as how to use a keyboard with your PalmPilot, how to use e-mail, and how to import files. In addition, the site features PalmPilot news and bulletin boards.
- PalmCentral, "the cornerstone of the GoPDA network," is another stellar resource. With bleeding edge software ranging from maps and financial tools to e-texts and astronomical calculators, users will find plenty to keep their PalmPilots and such busy...and message boards in which to express their delight.
- PalmGear HQ also has frequently updated, essential utilities for the Palm, including infrared applications for the Palm V and up. Some of our favorite brand spanking-new downloads include an NHL schedule and an English to Greek dictionary.
- PalmPilotWare features software and shareware downloads for the Palm operating system. This site aims to have all of the software available for the PalmPilot and does have a pretty robust offering of everything from games to utilities to business applications.
- Another place to look for PalmPilot software and shareware is the PilotZone. This well-organized site has plenty of business and productivity applications as well as games and documents (such as Bible verses and philosophical texts).
- You can download works of fiction direct to your PalmPilot at MemoWare, a PDA document repository. Download works of fantasy, romance, horror, humor, and more; or check the Palm Pilot Webring for more great free content.
- And, of course, someone (Calvin) has published a site with PalmPilot Easter Eggs (Easter eggs are small surprises hidden inside a program). Bet you didn't know there was a hula-dancing tree hidden somewhere inside your PalmPilot. Check out this site to find out where. In addition, Calvin's FAQ is a great resource for Palm Pilot novices with basic (and not so basic) questions.
