During installation your computer must be connected to the Internet via the local network. The installation phase of the server GSI (package fds-modgsi) can not be achieved without high-speed Internet connection.
1. Download the distribution Kubuntu (currently version 5.10 Breezy)
2. Verification MD5 signature of the downloaded image (optional)
3. Installing the distribution Kubuntu
4. Installing the package fds-modgsi which installs applications servers
5. The configuration program network server GSI launches after installing the package, prepare the necessary information (fixed IP address, mask, domain name …).
