Funny Videos Part II
| Overall Rating | No Ratings |
In a previous article we focused on real-life video clips -- the Exploding Whale, Pinky the Cat, etc. This time around we'll be pointing you to some of our favorite made-for-Internet movie sites, as well as a few choice clips from cartoon shows. Have fun!
Original Programming
Probably our favorite new video is Quentin Tarantino's Star Wars. It’s a hilarious parody of everyone’s favorite sci-fi series -- using genuine Star Wars action figures for "actors." The site offers a variety of episodes from the series (our favorite: "Godzilla vs. Disco Lando"). They’re in both QuickTime and RealPlayer versions.
Also worth checking out is I'M B1FF!!!, the home page of the First International Bizarre Film Festival. There’s about a dozen weird original movies here, from "Mr. Splodgy Does Lung Cancer" to something called, um, "Raytraced Fruit Fly Ovaries." They’re all in MPEG format.
Comedy Clips
You just knew we'd bring up South Park, didn't you? At The South Park Bus Stop you can download dozens of complete episodes (make sure you get the RealPlayer plug-in first). Just be prepared for some mighty long download times.
And if it's Space Ghost clips you're looking for, stop by the Cartoon Network's Space Ghost Episodes site. They've got QuickTime clips of pretty much every episode from this season.
Trying to find Simpsons clips? 300+ Movies by Ta’ Dal’ has dozens of them, plus hundreds more clips from various sources. All are in QuickTime format.
