The terminal AMD, called PIC (Personal Internet Communicator), will be launched as a first step on the Indian market and sold in partnership with Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL), telephone and internet access provider. The PIC runs under Windows, the Microsoft operating system, and is part of AMD’s strategy to equip half the planet free access to the Internet and a computer in 2015….
